Beach Marina on Lake Mead.
A
lake? In the middle of the desert? YES! Lake Mead is
one of the largest man made lakes in the Western
Hemisphere and offers hours of recreational
activities. Located just 1 hour from downtown Las
Vegas, this is one side trip you don't want to miss.
Because
their watercraft rentals are located right on the
Lake, there is no "down" time while
waiting to launch, and no rushing to load the
Watercraft up at the end of the day. Just step off
the dock and cruise into fun. When your day is over,
cruise back to the dock and that's it, you're done
and on your way.
Overton
Beach Marina is located at the North End of Lake
Mead. CLICK HERE for driving instructions. It's less
crowded than the South End, with plenty of coves to
explore and sandy beaches to relax on. There is a
full Service Marina with Gift Shop/Convenience
Store, Boat Mechanic, Land and Water Gas, and most
of all, friendly, professional employees.

and have a 25 hp motor with steering wheel, not a
backwards trolling motor. Canopy keeps the sun from
